Barrington is a town of just over 8,000 people in the thriving and bustling Seacoast region of New Hampshire. Barrington is located between the communities of Dover, Rochester, Somersworth, and Durham, placing it within close distance of many recreational, shopping, dining, and historical sightseeing opportunities. Home to the famous Calef's County Store, a New Hampshire tradition since 1864 and it's christmas all year round as The Christmas Dove. 

Barrington students are served by many exceptional educational opportunities such as Dover High School, Coe-Brown Northwood Academy, Oyster River High School, and St. Thomas Aquinas High School. The University of New Hampshire in Durham is also an example of Barrington's proximity to higher educational opportunities.

Barrington has a wonderful Recreation Department that offers a wide variety of programs for the town's children and adults.  Everything from soccer, fitness classes, and family programs and trips. The town also has a fantastic public library. The Barrington Public Library has a collection of over 36,000 items ranging from picture books, to fiction, to non-fiction and reference items. They also house a portion of the Historical Society Collection. The library has over 2,900 DVDs, both educational and current releases. They also offer audio books on CD for all ages, music CD's, puppets to check out, activity kits for children, CD-ROM and console Video games for WII, PS2, PS3, XBox, and X360.
